"The world is a small town," is a line from Austin Kleon's book Steal Like an Artist.
I've seen this prove true again and again.
So a few weeks ago when a local new reporter got in touch about finding the owner of a building I had painted (which I wanted to "gift" to the owner), it shouldn't have surprised me that the reporter in question happened to be little girl turned woman who had grown up down the street from me in southern Arkansas.
I was still surprised.
