I started working on Ella Luna's 100 day challenge on a whim. I am ever the nerd who wants to do what the cool kids are doing, I saw several of my friends recommend this project to commit to doing something creatively specific for one hundred days.
The first month of this project I focused on line drawings of the plants that I saw popping up around me in the beautiful Arkansas spring. I soon realized that it wasn't the precise details that I loved but the essence of the plants I wanted to capture which lead me to part two.
